Crock Pot Corned Beef and Cabbage

Ingredients: 
  • 3 carrots, peeled and sliced thick
  • 1 large onion, cut into 8 wedges
  • 1 small head of cabbage, cut into wedges
  • 1 corned beef brisket (3 lb)
  • few dashes of seasoning salt
  • 1 cup beef or vegetable broth

Put all ingredients, except cabbage in slow cooker in the order listed. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours or on high for 5-6 hours. Add cabbage to the liquid and push them down to moisten. Turn to high and cook an additional 2-3 hours.
